Do you have an hour every 3 months to meet with the Group?
Rainbow Medical Centre has had a PPG since 2008
The group was formed to:
- Contribute to the improvement of the practice
- Improve communication between the practice and its patients
- Help patients to take more responsibility for their health
- Provide practical support and help as the practice implements change
Since its conception it has:
- Helped the practice lobby for equipment to improve patient care
- Been consulted with when the practice introduced electronic consultations, changed opening hours and added a telephone queuing system amongst other things
- Identified issues that patients face with the practice and came up with solutions to address them
In summary; the group has helped the practice improve the patient experience
The practice is always changing and evolving – due to the patient needs, expectations of the wider NHS and internal practice improvements etc. We need you to help influence the changes
The Patient Group is not:
- A forum for complaints
- A fan club for the practice
If you can challenge but in a constructive way and if you can work with us to implement changes – we need you
